Operation Concern:
The Harrington Park Police Dept offers a program to residents called "Operation Concern". The objective of this program is to insure the safety and well being of our Senior Citizens who live alone. Participants enrolled in the program must check in with the police dept between 8am and 10 am daily. If no call is received the Police Department will attempt to make contact by telephone or in person. Participant s in the program are also requested to provide telephone numbers of friends and family members to reached in case of an emergency. A key to the residence should also be made available to the Police Department as well as any medical information that could be useful in an emergency.
