| Any Harrington Park Resident wishing to obtain a NJ Firearms ID card or a pistol purchase permit should contact Ptl. David Sprengel. Initial applications for a NJ Firearms ID card require the person be fingerprinted and a background check be conducted. This process takes approximately four to six months to complete, at which time the ID card will be issued barring any criminal record.
